We welcome you to the March issue of Inside ATLAS.ti. In this issue, we present you with the latest news regarding ATLAS.ti, and offer you a best practice and case study article. This month case study deals with a study on environmental education written by Maria New Valero Avendaño, a professor and doctoral student at the Universidad de Zulia, Puerto Ordaz, Venezuela. The best practice article "How to Make the Best of Codes in ATLAS.ti" approaches codes. All the things they can be--and all the things they ought not to be--written by Dr. Susanne Friese.

Important: Update Your ATLAS.ti Mac Now

Our Mac team has found, in the soon-to-be released macOS 10.12.4, an issue that may affect the integrity of ATLAS.ti Mac projects. Because of this, please update your ATLAS.ti Mac as soon as possible to the latest service pack (1.5.3).

This update must done BEFORE updating your system to macOS 10.12.4.

To update ATLAS.ti Mac, click on 'ATLAS.ti' on the menu on top and then select the third option 'Check for Updates.'

Join us at the Corvallis ATLAS.ti Summer Workshop Series

ATLAS.ti-IIQM Dissertation Awards

We are happy to announce a new cycle of the ATLAS.ti-IIQM Dissertation Awards. Twice a year, we give an award to the best Master's thesis and dissertation projects from any discipline containing research based on qualitative methodology. Each winner receives $3,000 cash award, an ATLAS.ti software license, complimentary training in ATLAS.ti, and complimentary registration to the annual IIQM Qualitative Health Research Conference.
