Revamping the DevExpress VCL Subscription
At the 2010 DevExpress Annual Summit much focus was placed on where and how we could drive our VCL controls forward.
Our VCL customers have been hankering for new features and a more accelerated development roadmap for some time now, and so the decision has been made to take steps to propel the product group forward.
Take a look at Julian¡¯s blog post to see what you can expect from the newly improved VCL subscription offering. Your feedback is vital for this endeavor, so please do leave your comments for Julian and the team.
OAuth Library Shipped with DXperience v2011 vol 1
OAuth is an authentication protocol that allows users to approve applications to act on their behalf without sharing their password. You can see examples of this in action on services that ¡°talk to¡± Twitter, Facebook and Google. Our own library has shipped as part of DXperience v2011 vol 1.
The DevExpress OAuth Library was designed to help you consume standard OAuth 1.0 and OAuth 2.0 services easily. It supports the consumer side for OAuth 1.0 and OAuth 2.0 Draft as well as the provider side for OAuth 1.0.
Azret has been one of the key contributors to this project and he has posted the details to his blog. Take a look and leave your feedback in the comments.
