Hello,

I'm excited to announce that today (August 3, 2010), VanDyke Software
released beta 1 of SecureCRT 6.6 for the Mac OS X!

We believe that the Mac version of SecureCRT will fill a growing market
need for a secure, fully-featured terminal client on Mac OS X.  Every year
since 2005, we have seen a substantial increase in the number of inquiries
from network administrators requesting a terminal emulator on the Mac.

The Mac version offers much of the same functionality as the Windows
version, including tabs, advanced session management, automation
capabilities, and cross-platform scripting with Python.

For your convenience, more information regarding the Mac OS X version of
SecureCRT can be found on our website on the following web page:

  http://www.vandyke.com/products/beta/securecrt/index.html

You and your customers are welcome to download a 30-day, fully functional
trial of the beta version of SecureCRT for Mac OS X on our website on the
following web page:

We will begin accepting orders for the beta release of SecureCRT for Mac OS
X today, and we expect the official release to follow in later in the year.

Pricing and part numbers for SecureCRT for Mac OS X will be the same as
SecureCRT for Windows, and can be found on our website on the following web
page:

Mac or Windows does not need to be specified when ordering.
The End-user will simply download whichever version they need off of our
website, and register the software using the License information they
receive via e-mail once their order has been processed.

Please let me know if you or your customers have any questions about this
new release, or if there is anything else I can do for you.

Have a great day!
