Industry's First MVVM–ready Scheduling Control.

Designed from the ground up, UXScheduleView is engineered with rock–solid architecture to provide the very best support for the MVVM design pattern. UXScheduleView will support both data display and editing using MVVM and Repository pattern, which allow you to directly interact with the control using your own classes and entities – all without requiring additional proxy classes or custom interfaces.
The beauty of the MVVM pattern implementation is that it allows you to generalize the ViewModel implementation which is useful to share common functionalities in multiple applications. As such, many of the commands are already implemented in the base classes of the ViewModel provided in UXScheduleView – saving you countless development hours.
UXScheduleView marries powerful architecture with superior user experiences to provide a luxurious look and feel that belies its extensible scheduling view architecture. You can easily create your own custom views such as Daily, Next 3 Days and Agenda views that are instantly plug 'n playable.
And the best of all, all the amazing features in UXScheduleView aren't exclusive only to Silverlight. They are very well supported in WPF too, including the razor–sharp lines rendering, sophisticated editing capabilities, and the full MVVM design pattern support. Community corner.

Silverlight Rumors Debunked.
Community member Andre asks wonders about his investment in Intersoft pending Microsoft's Window 8 development plans, and fears that Silverlight won't be an option. Of course, as a Microsoft Partner, Intersoft is dedicated to Windows development interoperability and will make all controls available in WinRT. Read the full thread for details..
XML Injection Errors.
Eric stumbled across a potential WebGrid 6 security problem between XML and XSS, and needed to verify that the control is "XSS safe." The upcoming WebGrid 2011 R2 completely eliminates this risk by ditching XSS and implementing JQuery in its place. For more about Eric's issue, check out the thread..
Get the Dirt on Silverlight ReportViewer.
Community member "bap" is looking forward to the upcoming Silverlight ReportViewer and asked for more information about how it works, specifically security and forms authentication. We poked the developers and detailed the security inner workings for you in the conversation..

Tips and Trick.

Add Color to the Grid
Member Ryan asks, "How do you change the background color of UXGridView's SelectedRow in Silverlight?"
Simply generate the default style with Microsoft Expression Blend.
  1. Right click your XAML page and open in Expression Blend.
  2. Right click UXGridView>>Edit Additional Template>> Edit RowStyle.
  3. The default style should be generated automatically. Then save the XAML.
  4. Go back to Visual Studio. In Resources>> Visual State, Background Rectangle. Then find Rectangle with Background Rectangle and change the color in the gradient.
Paging Parameters in ISDatasource
ISDatasource supports the select parameter control, but you need to make sure the back end filters against the parameters, or only the first page of your data will be filtered properly. Using this trick, ISDatasource handles all the filtering and reduces calls.

In the selection logic, use the following code:
DataView view = new DataView(table);
view.RowFilter = "VisitDisplayName = " + "'moduleName'";
