Pick and choose the content you want to reuse!

Solid Converter PDF has improved content selection and conversion in v7.

Question: Have you tried to extract graphs from PDFs as images for use in another presentation?

Because our primary focus during conversion is to provide you with the most editable output content possible, when converting a PDF that contains graphs, our conversion engine goes deeper than seeing the graph as a simple image object.  This level of detail detects each component of the graph as an object.  Therefore, using Extract Images will not detect and extract the graphs.

Do you need a graph or two from a PDF file to highlight important points in your presentation?  Here’s how you can select just the graphs (and other content) you need for reuse.

Open your PDF with the graphs, click on the Select Objecttoolbar button:

Then hold down the Ctrl key, while you click and drag to highlight the graph content:

When you release the mouse, you will see that the selector highlighting changes from the dotted outline to solid lines that highlight all the objects within the graph. Right-click and select Copy. Now you can simply Right-click Paste the graph into your presentation for reuse.
