Editor's note
Looking back at 2010, it was once again a challenging year for Telerik as well as our customers. The economy continues to be stubborn, Microsoft released new versions of .NET and Visual Studio that we had to be ready for, and even Mother Nature gave us trouble: the eruption of Mt. Eyjafjallajokull stranded over a dozen of our employees on three continents.
Looking back, 2010 was also a year of growth for Telerik. We added two divisions and two offices. We added many new products including: Windows Phone 7, JustCode, JustMock, TeamPulse, and had major upgrades of some existing products such as our Automated Testing Tools, OpenAccess and Sitefinity. Our existing products won several awards, including the JOLT awards and Best of TechEd 2010. Telerik was also selected as a Red Herring Global 100 company and was a finalist in the prestigious European Business Awards.
In 2010, Telerik reached more customers than ever. Our team traveled to all four corners of the globe to visit customers and partners. For example we had speakers and booths at five TechEds around the world. Besides the big events, we also sponsored and spoke at several CodeCamps and user groups.
Looking forward to 2011, we hope that the world economy and the general business climate improve. We have some great releases of our products planned, as well as a brand new product that you'll get a preview of soon.
