The New Release is Here!

It’s November and time for Telerik’s final major release of 2010! The Q3 2010 release, available on Telerik.com today, delivers updates to the now more than 10 productivity-enriching tools in the Telerik toolbox, and completes a year that has been filled with introducing tools that help development teams be more productive. From time saving Visual Studio plug-ins like JustCode and JustMock, to powerful testing tools like WebUI Test Studio, to the essential RadControl UI components, all parts of the software development process are improved by Telerik’s Ultimate Collection.

With today’s release, I also have a new challenge for you.

If you only use Telerik’s RadControls, I challenge you to expand your horizons in Q3 and try at least one additional Telerik tool. Try TeamPulse to intuitively capture project requirements, plan work, and track progress in an agile way. Next week TeamPulse will also add bi-directional sync with Microsoft Team Foundation Server. Or try OpenAccess ORM, with a new in Q3 LinqToSql Converter and rich SDK Browser, to see how data access with an ORM can be both simple and powerful. Do you write code? Then try JustCode, a fast Visual Studio plug-in that helps you write better code. In Q3, JustCode’s built-in unit test runner runs even faster and an array of new code templates and quick fixes will save you thousands of keystrokes! If you still “click around” an application to make it work before a release, then stop wasting time in Q3 and try WebUI Test Studio for automated functional testing. WebUI Test Studio adds test scheduling, visual test debugging, and conditional test steps in today's release.

The last release for 2010 is here with new products and improvements across the entire Telerik product line. From the MVC 3 Beta support for the Telerik MVC Extensions and Word-like editing for our Silverlight RichTextBox to a handy LINQ to SQL converter for OpenAccess ORM and XML reports for Telerik Reporting.

TeamPulse New Release Around the Corner

Next week we will be releasing the new version of our agile project management solution – TeamPulse. It will add some much anticipated features like TFS synchronization, Idea management and import from CSV. To get an early glimpse of the new functionalities you can download the tool’s Beta.

RadControls for Windows Phone Showcase

As new as the RadControls for Windows Phone suite is, it is already used in building Falafel Software’s Event Board for Microsoft TechEd Europe 2010. Using Telerik’s latest product, the application lets users quickly find sessions, view conference information, tweets, maps etc. with their Windows Phones.
