New Acquisition: Katharion

GFI Software has recently acquired Katharion and will soon be able to offer a hosted email filtering, anti-spam and anti-virus service on-premise, in the cloud and uniquely, as a hybrid option. For example, companies can use the hosted service to block up to 90% of the total spam emails received, therefore reducing bandwidth costs and the volume of junk hitting their server, while leveraging our on-premise solutions for local capabilities. |

Upgrade information – GFI to support Microsoft Windows 7 and Microsoft Exchange 2010

GFI is committed to supporting Microsoft Windows7 and Windows 2008 R2, set for release on October 22, 2009; and our mail server products will fully support Microsoft Exchange 2010 when it ships in early November. GFI EndPointSecurity 4.2
Before the end of 2009, we will release GFI EndPointSecurity 4.2 with report updates, support for Bitlocker-To-Go devices and a freeware version.
