Coming Soon: Imatest's Image Sensor (IS) Edition with support for Aptina, OmniVision, and Toshiba sensors
Imatest IS (image sensor) Edition will be released soon. The IS Edition enables rapid, automatic testing of sensor image quality and subsequent re-configuration of image sensor settings and works seamlessly with both OmniVisionn and Aptina sensors, loading images directly from OmniVision's image sensor configuration software package, called OVTA Tool 2009, and from Aptina's image sensor configuration package, called DevWare. Images are automatically analyzed across a host of digital image quality factors, providing product engineers with information required to optimize sensor settings. Now, the benefits that DevWare-Enabled Imatest offered to users of Aptina image sensors are also available to users of OmniVision image sensors -- all in one product. Support for Toshiba sensors will follow later this year, making IS Edition the logical choice for engineers working with image sensors from multiple vendors.
Coming Soon: Imatest software to remove honeycombing in fiber optic scope images
Fiber optic scopes found in medical devices such as endoscopes commonly capture images that contain a honeycomb pattern which can be detrimental to the process of detecting blemishes. Imatest will soon offer the ability to remove honeycomb patterns, making blemishes stand out as clear as day. Please contact sales@imatest.com for details.

Recently Released: Imatest IT/DLL offers programmer interface for C, C++
Imatest IT(Industrial Testing) is a software package designed to measure image quality in automated testing and quality control systems. Imatest IT/EXE, the executable version of the product, is currently in use at major companies like Pelco (see: www.imatest.com/applications/industrial). Now, Imatest IT/DLL is available. IT/DLL enables image quality testing functions to be called from C or C++ applications, making it easy to integrate into other software systems. Recently released: Small Color Chart
Ideally suited to medical device testing (e.g., endoscopes), the Small Color Chart from Imatest includes a 24-patch color calibration target and a grayscale stepchart with density steps of 0.1. The chart comes with color reference file. Standard charts are printed 8 to a page and can be mounted on business-card sized magnets (included). The color chart itself measures a mere 0.58 X 0.4 inches. Custom sizes are available on request.
