Network Sheriff, a.k.a. Jimmy Ray Pursor, knows how to corral networks out in the Wild West of the LANscape. Last week in his blog post Free is Good! 3 Rocking Tools For Your Laptop, the Network Sheriff put in his two cents on our new free tool:
"Tool 00x01: IP Address Tracker... this is a great first step network profiling tool... It will discover a network via ICMP very fast, sort and place in an exportable spreadsheet format. How fast? I discovered all 78 devices in my /24 network in 37 seconds and I scanned the entire range.... Very nice time saver and a tool that not only helps out in understanding the lay of the LAN but adds to my professional cred." Read More >
