Telerik TV is Live!
Telerik TV is Live!
We are happy to announce the official release of a new and exciting resource - Telerik TV! Telerik TV is the gateway to all video resources that were previously scattered across Telerik websites. The videos are organized in a way that makes it easy to find answers to your problems or discover new tips and tricks as you browse video channels. You can choose to watch the latest or most popular videos on Telerik product lines, or simply browse the various Telerik TV channels - TelerikWatch Minute presented by our Chief Evangelist, Todd Anglin; RadTips — a focused set of feature-specific tips for different product lines; EdgeOfDev, focusing on interesting industry trends; and Telerik Real World - a virtual library of showcase videos dedicated to "real world" applications built with Telerik's development tools and components.

We hope you enjoy the new video resource and find it helpful when exploring the Telerik portfolio. Your comments and suggestions are welcome!

Download Latest Internal Builds for ASP.NET AJAX
Download Latest Internal Builds for ASP.NET AJAX
We are happy to announce the release of a new page on our website that gives you access to our latest internal builds. These "internal builds" are distributions built automatically from our source repository as part of our continuous integration and they include all latest fixes. They do not include new or "beta" functionality.

Regular builds are an integral part of our development process. If you have experienced any problem with the current official distributions there is a possibility that the issue has already been addressed in the latest internal build.

Keep in mind that the builds are intended for development only and are not recommended for production purposes as these distributions have not gone through the complete QA process. Currently, there are builds for RadControls for ASP.NET AJAX only, but the other Telerik products will be included soon as well.

We hope you enjoy the continuous builds and we look forward to your continuous feedback. Enjoy!
New Telerik Trainer Sessions for RadControls for WinForms
New Telerik Trainer Sessions for RadControls for WinForms
Enjoy two new Telerik Trainer sessions for our WinForms suite:

An overview of RadCalendar for WinForms, showing its basic usage including setting some more important properties, how to use the Special Days collection, and how to style a particular day by using the Visual Style builder. The session is about 10min long and comes with working samples in VB and C# (for both VS2005 and VS2008).

Download session (ZIP 17.8 MB)

The other session, on RadComboBox for WinForms, is about 15 min long and demonstrates the various autocompletion modes, and how to take advantage of the multi-line text support. VB/C# projects are also provided.

Download session (ZIP 24.9 MB).

What is Telerik Trainer?
The Telerik Trainer is a state of the art training application that combines video training with hands on coding. Provided at no charge, it leverages powerful new Microsoft technologies like Windows Presentation Foundation (WPF), WCF and LINQ, along with tight integration in Visual Studio to create an amazing multimedia training experience. The training episodes are entirely self contained and include code (in both C# and VB for Visual Studio 2005 and 2008), video, and tips. Just download an episode, open it in the Trainer and you're ready to go.
New Application — ASP.NET AJAX Controls in ASP.NET MVC
New Application — ASP.NET AJAX Controls in ASP.NET MVC
Telerik is already proud to be the first component vendor to add support for ASP.NET MVC, but we won't stop there. We are now happy to announce a new application built with the RadControls for ASP.NET AJAX, ASP.NET MVC and Telerik OpenAccess ORM. The application is a basic online forum that uses many of the RadControls for ASP.NET AJAX, such as RadGrid, RadEditor, RadTreeView, RadChart, and RadUpload, and it demonstrates how the RadControls integrate with ASP.NET MVC.

Visit the online demo or download the source code today. Also be sure to check the online help topics discussing ASP.NET MVC integration to maximize your RadControl MVC impementations.

Now you can bookmark the pages on telerik.com that you are always visiting - such as the Forums or the Support Center - and quickly return with your customized navigation. Our hope is that this new tool will save you time and make you even more productive when developing with Telerik's tools.

Handle Millions of Records in Milliseconds with RadGridView for Silverlight
Handle Millions of Records in Milliseconds with RadGridView for Silverlight
Telerik knows that real world applications often must deal with lots of data and that you need controls that can handle whatever data you throw at them. If you want to see how Telerik is already supporting these real world scenarios in Silverlight, check out the latest example for Telerik's RadGridView for Silverlight. The demo shows how to perform server paging, sorting and filtering with RadGridView for Silverlight using ADO.NET DataServices and dynamic LINQ. With this approach, all operations are executed directly on the data base server, the traffic between server and Silverlight client is minimal, and the grid is faster than ever.

With the help of Xenocode — the experts in application virtualization technology — we are finally able to offer you a virtualized version of our RadControls for WinForms demos. You can now run the WinForms demos directly from our site, meaning that no registration or installation is required. A file with the virtualized examples still needs to be downloaded, but it is 2 ½ times smaller than the complete product package (because it omits the VS projects and documentation), and the demos run right away, with no performance issues.

We hope this new demo distribution will considerably simplify your decision-making process by reducing the time to review and test our WinForms features. In addition, the virtualized demos can be used for presentations when you need to show features of the RadControls for WinForms to your customers without requiring a full product install.
