Tips and Tricks

Tip 1: Rapid-fire way points for connectors.

Here's a really simple and useful way to route connectors quickly even on a complex diagram:

  1. Select a connector from the toolbox
  2. Drag it from one element to another
  3. Each time you press Shift, a bend in the line (way point) is created at the current mouse position


Tip 2: Do you find yourself always using the ¡°Align to¡± commands?

Try Smart Placement. Select: View | Snap to Grid | Smart Placement
