Product Tip: Export/Import Application Templates
Ever had the urge to share your creative monitoring genius with others, or better yet, leverage the work of others? Well, now you can! The new Application Performance Monitor (APM) module for Orion gives you the ability to export and import application templates.* Using this feature, you can share your application templates with your colleagues on
Thwack in a matter of minutes or easily import application templates created by others into your APM deployment.
To share your template, navigate to the APM Settings area in Orion, select Manage Application Template, select a template, click the "Export Template" button, save your template, and follow the link to the Thwack Content Sharing Zone to upload your template.
*What are application templates you ask? Application templates are collection of things you'd like to monitor that, when combined, represent the health of an application. You can mix and match any of the monitors included in APM to create a template.
