Announcing GFI EventsManager 8 – February 19
New version supports Windows Server 2008 and
Vista
The new version of GFI EventsManager, an events
monitoring, archiving and management solution, is now available in BETA.
Version 8 – which will be launched on February 19 – ships with SQL Server
Audits, SNMP Traps generated by heterogeneous network sources and offers full support of Microsoft¡¯s Windows Server 2008
which will be launched this month.
The new version
of GFI EventsManager helps IT administrators to:
- Take control of
the huge amount of events that are generated on by computers, servers
and routers, sensors, firewalls, etc
- Access, monitor
and analyze a wider range of events generated by different types of
hardware devices such as W3C, Syslog, Windows events and SNMP traps
with specific device support
- Monitor the
health of their network, thus boosting uptime and security levels
- Reduce the
complexity of event archiving and management by centralizing and
synchronizing all events
- Meet stringent
compliance regulations
- Provide the
necessary data for forensic and diagnostic investigations.
