of Image Arts and Sciences at Ritsumeikan University teaching
Virtools
College
of Image Arts and Sciences at Ritsumeikan University is now teaching
Virtools technology in its CG programming and animation courses,
equipping 79 PCs with peripheral devices. Ritsumeikan University
also features impressive VR development facilities in its
Experiential Media Laboratory: an eight meter-wide cylindrical
screen, stereo-Scopic Projector-Triplets, Head Mounted Displays,
Flight Sticks, VICON motion capture cameras and car driving
controller. The university aims at teaching the essence of game
development and interactive 3D computer graphics benefiting from the
flexibility of Virtools 4 and the capability to use expandable
functionalities for coding. Easy integration and coordination of
various VR input and output devices is also a crucial point for
them.

DSDSF,
French Commercial entity of Dassault Syst?es, just released its 3D
Virtual Booth application developed in cooperation with AD-Invaders.
The advergame studio worked in collaboration with Dassault Syst?es
to create this whole new application using Virtools to power its new
cutting-edge virtual 3D communication environment. The highly
interactive and easy-to-use application 3D Virtual Booth allows
customers to know more about Dassault Syst?es products and
aspirations by viewing and interacting with the elements inside the

UNIT 3D, create virtual models of chemical and petrochemical

virtual models of chemical and petrochemical units. Developped by
AddinLight, expert in Virtual Reality applied to the industry, UNIT
3D provides assistance to the industrial maintenance of these units,
but can also be adapted to meet specific needs (training, process
study...) The display can be colored according to the nature of
fluids, the temperature, the wear. Move yourself inside the unit,

celebrate its 10th anniversary, Echangeur (the European Centre for
innovative customer relations practices) organized a day to project

lives? Animations, debates and latest innovations were presented
