Greetings iolo customers and patrons,
I'd like to welcome you to our revised newsletter. I hope you find it
interesting and helpful. Our newsletter is designed to keep you up to date
with important information related to your PC needs.
2007 has been an exciting year for iolo. Among our most important
achievements, we were proud to be first-to-market with our fully Windows Vista™-compatible
product line.
We also launched three new desktop security products: iolo AntiVirus™,
iolo Personal
Firewall™, and System Shield®
3 Internet Security. These exemplify our ongoing commitment to a complete
security, optimization, repair, and maintenance solution for Windows users.
In addition, we released major version 7 upgrades to our flagship System Mechanic®
family starting late last year. We achieved several key advances that build
significantly upon our existing best-of-breed toolset.
While there are many new features in System Mechanic® 7, we're
particularly excited about ActiveCare™. Instead of the outdated method
of scheduled maintenance at preset intervals, whether or not it's actually
required, ActiveCare can be set to monitor your PC “silently” in
real time. When it detects errors or less-than-optimal settings it performs
the needed repairs instantly. This is, in our opinion, the closest thing to
the utopian ideal of a “self-healing” computer. Best of all,
ActiveCare runs only when your PC is idle, so it has no perceptible impact on
performance, unlike schedule-based maintenance.
If you haven't yet upgraded to version 7, I encourage you to consider it.
We've put a lot of effort into making this the best version yet.
Finally and most importantly, I want to extend my warm and sincere gratitude
to you, our customers, and a special thanks to the thousands who take the
time to send in praise, suggestions, and constructive feedback. It means the
world to us when we hear from our loyal and dedicated customers, as our
products are shaped around your needs and requirements. Customer
relationships are paramount to our company mission, and as we continue to
attain our objectives you need not look any further than iolo for a complete
product line that keeps your PC running its best.
