We are very excited to present UltraEdit v13.00 in this issue as it shows our continued effort to support you and to bring you the best file management solution available. Rather than listing all the new features in v13.00, I'd like to spend a brief moment discussing a few features that we think will make the biggest difference in your everyday user experience.
V13 is smarter! It offers more flexibility and allows you to get your work done more quickly.
Macros provide a lot of flexibility; however, the addition of the
integrated scripting engine greatly extends that power by providing the user
with more tools and flexibility.
Why smarter? UltraEdit is well known for its great search abilities and performance and now allows users to search for files
NOT containing a string, a very powerful tool for looking for those files that were not updated. Additionally the interactive search and replace through all open files makes your work flow easier.
V13 is faster! With the Spell-Check-As-You-Type you can get your work done more quickly. You can also view your files immediately with the integrated HTML viewer and make use of the many additional new features to work more efficiently.
You asked for it, we listened! With v13.00, we continued to listen to your requests and seek continuous improvement while not compromising performance and flexibility. This version has something for everybody!

UltraCompare's text mode supports 2 different
methods of merging differences block mode and
line mode.
Line Mode allows you to merge single
lines between files. You can toggle
between Line Mode and Block Mode in the Merge menu.

Although Renee has only been with the company for a few short months, she has already made a great impact.
