Customer Image of the Month from John
Maarschalik
|
Project:
¡®Upper East Side¡¯ Commercial
Building, Cape Town, South Africa
RPC Products Used:
Seated People, Hi-Res People, Resort People
Designer / Illustrator:
John Maarschalik, 3d artist, design lab, Cape Town,
South Africa
AV: Can you tell us a little
about the Upper East Side project?
JM: Originally, this
building housed a clothing manufacturer. The large open spaces could
easily be converted in to comfortable living spaces and we moved forward
creating a series of renderings to communicate the client¡¯s
project. The project took about 3 weeks to model and render using
Viz.
AV: design lab did a
series of interior and exterior renderings for this project and they all
have very nice imagery. How did you go about selecting your
entourage?
JM: The project
definitely needed RPC entourage to give the final images the right
feel.
I selected entourage that complemented the environment – giving it a
feel of a nice, social place to live in and meet other people. We
were pleased with the outcome.
AV: Great commercial
project, we appreciate you taking the time to discuss it.
You can find this image and many more in the recently revamped
RPC Customer Gallery.
