Clip with Friends using InterVideo WinDVD 8
How do you
grab a scene from a movie and share it with friends?

in InterVideo WinDVD
8 lets
you capture a movie scene, save it as an animated GIF file,
and send it via email in just a few clicks.
Capture your Movie
Scene
- Open
WinDVD 8 and insert your video disc onto your player.
Click the button.
This opens the Quick Clip
subpanel at the right side of the main window.
Note: You can click the butto
n
to set the resolution of your captured video, capture
interval, and playback speed.
- Play
your video and go to the scene you want to capture.
Click the button
to start capturing.
You can capture as much as 30 seconds of video. Just
make sure that the resulting file size is small enough
to easily send via email.
- To
stop capturing, click the button.
Save the Captured
Scene as a GIF File
- The
Save
As dialog box automatically
opens for you to save your file. The default location of
captured files is:
\\My Documents\InterVideo\WinDVD\Capture
- Enter
a file name and click Save .
- A
thumbnail image of your video is displayed in the
QuickClip subpanel.
Send the GIF File via
Email
To email your clip, just click the button.
WinDVD launches your default email program.
Note that your video has already been attached to
your email and all you have to do is send it to your friends!
