1)       NEW RELEASES

At the upcoming Supercomputing 2006 conference in Tampa, FL, Intel. will announce new versions of its cluster tools:

Intel. Math Kernel Library Version 9.0 for Windows* and Linux* and Mac OS*

New Intel. MKL and Intel. MKL Cluster Edition includes Multi-core optimizations for Woodcrest (Xeon processor), Conroe (Pentium. 4 processor), and Merom (Pentium. M processor).

Intel. Cluster Toolkit Version 3.0

New Intel. Cluster Toolkit makes clusters with Intel. processors the leading development platform for MPI applications. In addition to Intel. MKL Cluster Edition, Intel. MPI Library, and Intel. Trace Analyzer and Collector, the Intel. Cluster Toolkit also includes the Intel. MPI Benchmarks Version 3.0 providing MPI-2 version management (MPI_Get_version) and collective communication measurement for MPI_Alltoallv - sends data from all to all processes, with a displacement.

The Intel. MPI Library Version 3.0

New Intel. MPI Library is the universal MPI solution for all clusters based on Intel. architecture and includes now automatic runtime selection of fastest fabric, performance enhancements (collective algorithms, DAPL extensions), full multithreading support (MPI_THREAD_MULTIPLE), and network fault tolerance at job startup.

The Intel. Trace Analyzer and Collector Version 7.0

New Intel. Trace Analyzer and Collector is the leading performance analysis tool for MPI cluster applications with improved installation, enhanced GUI control, and Online help, comparison for multiple trace files, timeline display for performance counters, and graphical control of Trace Collector runtime configuration.

Release: 11/14/2006

During Supercomputing 2006, we have several product launch interviews planed with the media. Therefore, will be unable to release  pricing to resellers prior to 11/14/2006.

Reseller website has been updated and is available from ftp://aiedownload.intel.com/uploads/Reseller.zip.

2)       RESELLER WEBCAST

We are working on a HPC (MKL,Cluster tools) launch for the media, channel and end-users including a webcast to the channel, the release of a channel marketing kit, and support material for channel PR initiatives. The webcast is planed for the week before Supercomputing. An official notice will follow once it has been finalized.

Our first product release webcast for resellers was a great success. Over 100 people participated in the 3 webcasts. All documents can be downloaded from ftp://aiedownload.intel.com/uploads/Channel.zip. A video copy can be requested from John McHugh.

3)       INFORMATION FOR YOUR CUSTOMERS

Articles and support material that might of interest to you and your customers:

FAQ document about Intel. Threading Tools; how does threading relate to multi-core processors? What are the biggest challenges to successfully writing a threaded application? How do these new tools relate to Intels existing software product line?  and many more answers to many more questions. Send me mail for a .pdf copy.

4)       EUROPEAN MULTI-CORE ROADSHOW

Intel. is pleased to announce: The Intel Software Seminar is the opportunity to meet experts from Intel to discover how to get software applications ready to run on multi-core hardware platforms. It is the best opportunity for your Customers to ask the hardest questions, discuss development challenges, network with peers, learn vendors4 product roadmaps, and get the latest on Intel and software industry best practices.
