Kaspersky Lab announces the commercial release of Kaspersky® Anti-Virus 1.0 for MIMESweeper SMTP.
Kaspersky® Anti-Virus for MIMESweeper SMTP is designed to filter SMTP mail traffic to protect the Clearswift system from viruses. Kaspersky Anti-Virus for MIMESweeper offers real-time scanning and disinfection for incoming and outgoing mail that passes through Clearswift MIMESweeper for SMTP. The given product represents the new Kaspersky Lab solution, among those features are:
● email messages scanning, including attached objects and message bodies, for viruses.
● detection of infected, suspicious, corrupted, and password protected attachments and message bodies.
● antivirus processing (including disinfection) of infected objects found in email messages.
● updating of the antivirus databases. The application retrieves database updates from Kaspersky Lab, or may be configured to update the databases from a local server.
Kaspersky® Anti-Virus 1.0 for MIMESweeper SMTP is distributed via Kaspersky Lab partners and on-line store. The solution is licenses by the number of mail addresses.
